An Internal Website is a website that only your team has access to! Meaning, someone couldn’t just google it and find it. This is significant because it allows you to build and customize a website that is easily accessibly for your team and also extremely resourceful and beneficial to your team!
Below are just a few things you can have on an internal website:
Time Off Request with a Form sent directly to HR to approve, address, etc.
A digital Employee Handbook so employees can refer back to it if and when they have questions about policies, standards, procedures, etc.
Employee of The Month
Resources for Team Members like benefits, scholarship info, discount policy, etc.
Development path and a process to apply for future and higher positions
The Organizational Chart and a place to get to know and contact the team, etc,
